For better or worse, I'm someone who learns from experience. I also have way too much time on my hands and often find myself considering the pros and cons of everything. The pros and cons of every van imaginable, for example, lead me to buying five - yes five different vans! I've had two Ram Promasters, a Ford Transit Connect, a Pacifica minivan, an a 4x4 Mercedes Sprinter. In fact, the only van build I haven't tested is an Explorer Conversion van - and trust me, it's on the list.
I'm pretty much the same way with bikes. From carbon to steel, road, mountain, touring, unicycles and even a Halfbike - I've tried them all. (BTW if you've never heard of a Halfbike, you've gotta check them out!)
Fortunately, I'm also pretty good at sales and rarely (if ever) loose money on these experiments. But after years of beating myself up for never being able to "stick to something" - I've decided to put my curiosity to use by doing quick reviews of these products.
Please keep in mind that I am not a technical person. If you're looking for hardcore product reviews or detailed descriptions, they aren't likely to be here. My perspective tends to be visual or feeling oriented. I'm far more interested in how a Surley Moloko bar looks and feels on the bike, for example, than I am in it's measurements.
