I'm sure if I studied numerology, today would big a crazy big deal... It's World Palindrome Day, after all. And are you ready for this? The last one was 909 years ago! I know, right? It's also Super Bowl Sunday, which I'm pretty sure means more to most people. Especially the people in room 410.

As the party rages on, I am longing for the peace and solitude of the van! I'm "mad" at myself for checking into a hotel... yet, equally grateful for the presence of heat at Residence Inn Williamsburg. Though winter days in VA can be fairly mild, the idea of a long cold night in Vandora just doesn't hold much appeal. So here we are, listening to 25 enthusiastic Kansas fans screaming at a TV.

Ashur and I packed up Vandora yesterday, and took off for the east coast as planned. But so far, we've failed to spend a night in the van. On the plus side, we did have a great time relaxing on the Colonial Parkway. Baby Steps... Baby Steps... Right?

About Me:

Best me and Lukasz 4.5 months.jpeg

With the people I love scattered about,  I found myself retired, bored, and sitting alone in Williamsburg, VA.  So I bought a van (or two... or three... ), packed up my bike and set off to be with them.  I am an author  (8 books and counting), freelance writer and rails to trails cyclist, trying to figure out how to be Gigi - a 21st Century grandma.
